La Guana del Primiero
Created by Marco Martalar, La Guana del Primiero is a monumental sculpture standing 7 metres tall, made from over 2,000 pieces of wood recovered after Storm Vaia in 2018. The artwork transforms a wound to the land into artistic rebirth and is inspired by the legend of the Guane, nymphs of the Primiero streams and symbols of harmony between humanity and nature. It is now one of the most powerful symbols of Vaia art in Trentino.
